The Underwriting Assistant will support the delivery of the Marine & Energy Liability business plan by contributing to underwriting profitability targets, operating within risk tolerance, pricing, and governance frameworks. The role includes day-to-day administrative support for the Marine & Energy Liability account and requires staying current with regulatory obligations within the Lloyd’s of London market.
- Accurately input risk data into internal systems and rating models.
- Ensure timely and accurate entry of aggregate data into risk modelling tools.
- Work with Underwriting Support to resolve system errors promptly.
- Review and clear all data quality reports to maintain data integrity.
- Support Underwriters with regular and ad hoc reporting requirements.
- Communicate with brokers to address and resolve queries.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with brokers and clients.
- Develop a working knowledge of the Marine & Energy Liability book of business.
- Assist in the development and production of the annual business plan.
