Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
Undertake portfolio management monitoring of marine insurance renewals for various lenders. This includes obtaining renewal confirmations and formal documentation from insurance brokers/Clubs, reviewing new arrangements, advising Lenders of any issues and maintaining various databases
Assist the Credit Controller in all aspects of invoicing work. This includes preparing and issuing invoices, dealing with queries and maintaining various databases
Assist with the preparation of marine insurance reports for Lendors/Lessors. This includes reviewing insurance documentation, preparing and issuing formal written reports, liaising with Lendors/Lessors and/or their legal representatives in respect of the outstanding issues, issuing final reports and maintaining various databases
Assist with the insurance audit for a major European Lender. This includes reviewing insurance documentation and preparing a formal report
General office duties and ad hoc tasks as required
Adhere to company and regulatory policies, procedures together with mandatory training requirements.
Adhere to financial reporting requirements including monthly phasing of income.
Functional & Behavioural Competencies required:
Some previous knowledge of Marine insurance desired
Educated to at least A-Level standard
Attention to detail and ability to plan meticulously
Good interpersonal and written communication skills
Good IT skills
Good organisational skills
