Internship Programme Overview • The Sompo Internship Programme is a foundation for career advancement at Sompo International and can lead to an exciting and accelerated career pathway in Insurance. • Participants will gain internal exposure to the corporate environment and Insurance industry including the Insurance life cycle, the Claims and Operational change processes and the supporting corporate functions; providing them with the opportunity to build stakeholder relationships and develop technical knowledge. • During the 10-week training programme Interns will work alongside industry experienced professionals to gain in-depth knowledge of our business units, attend internal presentations, shadow employees, and undertake supplementary learning and training to gain knowledge of their assigned departments processes and procedures, and how these support the overall business strategy. • Sompo will utilize a combination of individual Work Placement and Trainee programmes to assist in identifying emerging talent for the organisation, in time creating a pathway for progression for those individuals seeking to build a career within Insurance.
