Job Title: Technical/ System Analyst
LocationWatford (Hybrid) 

Job Overview:
The Technical Analyst will be responsible for analysing, designing, implementing, and maintaining technical systems and processes within the organisation. This role involves working closely with various departments to understand their technology needs and providing solutions to improve efficiency, productivity, and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and evaluate existing technical systems, processes, and workflows to identify areas for improvement.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document technical requirements for new projects or system enhancements.

  • Design and develop technical solutions that meet business requirements and align with organizational goals.

  • Implement and configure software applications, databases, and other technical tools to support business operations.

  • Conduct testing and quality assurance activities to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of technical systems.

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users to resolve issues and optimize system functionality.

  • Document technical specifications, procedures, and user guides for reference and training purposes.

  • Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to recommend innovative solutions and improvements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and project managers, to deliver projects on time and within budget.


 Required Qualifications:

  • Qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 

  • Proven experience as a Technical Analyst or similar role in a corporate environment.

  • Proficiency in programming languages, database management systems, and enterprise software applications. (SQL advantageous).

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions and services.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
