About the role
Equity have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Partnerships Manager. We’re looking for a confident and engaging professional to join us on our mission in making racial inclusion mainstream in the Insurance sector and the City. The role will be client facing and you’ll be working collaboratively with Insurance and city-based firms, including some of the world’s largest multinational Insurance brands to boost diversity within their organisations and the industry. The role will focus on the end-to-end management and delivery of the partnership life cycle from onboarding, service delivery, reporting and renewal whilst also having elements of business development, strategy, and marketing.
As the Partnerships Manager you will possess good account management skills, relationship building skills and will also be results driven. You will also be passionate about improving corporate D&I, education and social mobility.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Account Management
Responsible for end-to-end management and delivery of partnership life cycle from onboarding, service delivery, reporting and renewal
Serve as the primary liaison for all partners and all partnership queries
Manage regular partnership meetings and monthly partnership check-ins
Maintain partnership relationships with social catch-ups and activities
Measure and report on the results of various projects with partners, including collaborative events and co-created and/or co-branded content promotions
Working according to key targets and KPIs for sales, partnerships and retention as set out in the Partnership strategy
Ensure all partnership activity is accurately recorded within CRM
Business Development/New Partnership Acquisition
Identify and source partnership opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound marketing
Generate cross-sale opportunities between partnerships and recruitment offerings
Developing the business network of D&I professionals, ERG chairs and HR professionals
Partnership Marketing & PR
Supporting our Marketing & Events Manager in working with our third party media agency and our partner’s marketing/comms teams to develop media plans which promote partnership activities
Supporting our Marketing & Events Manager to successfully deliver our schedule of events
Attending Industry/partnership events and providing feedback
Strategy
Work alongside CEO & CBO to develop and execute partnership strategy.
Support the company’s expansion strategy into new markets
Required Skills & Knowledge
Excellent account management skills
Good relationship management skills – The ability to be client. Developing and maintaining relationships with partners and other external stakeholders
Meeting facilitation skills – Including presentations, hosting group meetings and hosting senior professionals
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work to meet tight deadlines and turnaround times
Good IT skills, including experience working with a CRM database (HubSpot/Salesforce or equivalent)
Demonstrable knowledge and interest in issues surrounding corporate D&I, educational and social mobility
Knowledge of Lloyd’s of London and the Insurance sector is desirable
