Operational Resilience Analyst

Overview
This role sits within the Risk function and focuses on strengthening and embedding Operational Resilience across the business. It supports both UK and international operations, ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory requirements, and helps drive a culture of resilience by design. The role offers exposure to senior stakeholders, cross-functional collaboration, and opportunities to influence how the organisation prepares for and responds to operational disruption.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the Operational Resilience Framework and supporting documentation.
- Produce reports and insights for Board, Risk Committees, and regulators.
- Support annual testing cycles, including planning, execution, and reporting.
- Track and remediate risks, issues, actions, and vulnerabilities.
- Facilitate incident management processes, including root cause analysis and remediation planning.
- Engage with Service Owners and Operational Resilience Champions to oversee Important Business Services (IBSs) and Impact Tolerances (ITols).
- Deliver training and guidance to embed Operational Resilience understanding across the business.
- Collaborate with teams such as Procurement, Information Security, IT, and Business Change to strengthen resilience.
- Support compliance with international regulations, including Singapore BCM requirements.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills with proven stakeholder engagement, including at senior levels.
- Highly motivated, delivery-focused, and able to manage deadlines effectively.
Desirable but Not Essential
- Knowledge of Operational Resilience regulations and wider regulatory frameworks.
- Understanding of insurance, particularly the Lloyd’s market.
- Familiarity with Managing Agency operations (e.g. IT, Procurement, Claims, Underwriting, Delegated Authorities).
- Experience with Enterprise Risk Management.
