Overview:

The role exists to ensure premium receivables are effectively managed, cash collections are maximised, and financial exposure is minimised, all while contributing to continuous process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage premium receivables for a major broker account, ensuring timely collections and accurate cash reconciliation.
- Deliver against key targets, including overdue premiums, unapplied/unallocated cash, and claims.
- Build strong working relationships with brokers, underwriters, claims teams, operations, and external suppliers.
- Monitor broker and co-insurer performance against Terms of Business Agreements (TOBAs), taking corrective actions where needed.
- Identify and implement efficiency improvements in collaboration with leadership.
- Provide instructions and support to offshore teams, ensuring consistency and continuous improvement.
- Prepare regular updates on receivables, collections status, and key metrics.
- Previous experience in credit control within the UK insurance market, ideally managing premium receivables.
- Proven track record of achieving results in a target-driven environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to identify process inefficiencies and drive improvements.
- High attention to detail and accuracy, with strong organisational skills.
- Commercial awareness and a customer-focused approach.
- Experience working with offshore or shared-service teams.
- Familiarity with broker or insurer accounting processes.
