Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join an Early Careers programme within the insurance sector, supporting Brokers and Account Handlers across a range of specialist areas. The role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while completing an industry-recognised qualification.
Alongside on-the-job learning, the successful candidate will enrol on the Level 3 Insurance Practitioner Apprenticeship and work towards the Certificate in Insurance (Cert CII). The role is based in London with hybrid working available.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day client servicing and administrative activities across the broking lifecycle
- Work closely with Brokers and Account Handlers to assist with documentation, data processing, and client communications
- Develop an understanding of insurance products, markets, and client risk profiles
- Rotate across a variety of specialist business areas as part of the Early Careers programme, including:
- Accident & Health
- Construction & Engineering
- Cyber & Technology
- Energy
- Marine
- Private Equity, Mergers & Acquisitions and Tax
- Property
- Reinsurance
- Shipping & Offshore Finance
- Terrorism & Political Violence
- Actively participate in professional development and apprenticeship study requirements
Entry Requirements
- GCSEs at grades 9–4 (A*–C), including English and Maths
- Level 3 qualifications such as A Levels, NVQ, or BTEC
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong willingness to learn and develop within the industry
- Ability to work collaboratively and contribute positively to team objectives
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Strong IT literacy and organisational capability
- Client-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality service
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with diverse teams
