Job Title: Client Support Apprentice (Broking)

Overview
This role provides essential support across the end-to-end broking process, proactively assisting with the day-to-day management of client risks and (re)insurance programmes. The position offers exposure to a fast-paced, regulated environment and supports the effective delivery of high-quality client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day support to specialty broking teams, with the flexibility to work across different lines of business as required.
  • Support the wider team in developing and maintaining client relationships by ensuring administrative requirements are handled in a timely, accurate and compliant manner.
  • Assist client-facing executives with quality control of slips and endorsements, and help resolve processing-related queries.
  • Monitor, manage and seek agreement of slips and endorsements via the London Market electronic placing platform and approved internal systems.
  • Build strong working relationships with colleagues across multiple specialties and internal functions.
  • Support ad-hoc projects and undertake additional duties as required.
  • Act in line with organisational values and behavioural expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, risk management frameworks and operational standards.

  • Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to learn new systems quickly and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
