Overview
The Business Analyst will provide end-to-end support across an Enablement Operating Model, working collaboratively across disciplines including Underwriting, Operations, Engineering, UX Design and Process. The role will contribute throughout the development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design through to testing, delivery and change management, ensuring business needs are translated into high-quality, value-driven outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders to elicit, analyse and document business requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of business needs and platform capabilities.
- Conduct gap analysis to identify inefficiencies, risks and opportunities for improvement, proposing practical and value-adding solutions.
- Produce clear user stories and acceptance criteria that accurately reflect business requirements, supporting the delivery of high-quality features.
- Contribute to sprint planning, backlog refinement and prioritisation activities to maximise business value.
- Actively support the development lifecycle by participating in daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives, offering insights to improve delivery and outcomes.
- Develop and maintain high-quality documentation, including business requirement documents, functional specifications and process maps.
- Facilitate workshops, walkthroughs and training sessions to support stakeholder engagement, understanding and adoption of new solutions.

Technical Capabilities
- Business-level proficiency in English is essential.
- Proficiency in Spanish and/or other European languages such as French, Dutch or German is highly advantageous.
- 2–3 years’ experience as a Business Analyst or in a comparable role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance or a related discipline.
- Prior experience within the insurance sector is a strong advantage.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, with experience using tools such as JIRA, Confluence or similar platforms.
- Experience incorporating AI tools into day-to-day ways of working.
