About the role
ICSR is a relatively new, fast-growing and exciting consultancy which is focused on the Insurance sector. We provide advisory and resourcing support for our clients across a range of areas including Governance, Risk, Compliance, Underwriting Controls, Operations, IT, HR, Claims, Complaints and Project Management.

The business has big ambitions in the UK market in the coming years and is targeting both significant growth across all products and services that it offers and the development of new products and services including support to clients on the Operational Resilience responsibilities of their businesses as this has become an area of regulatory focus.
 

The role will involve the following:
  • Providing subject matter expertise on all aspects related to Operational Resilience requirements to ICSR clients.
  • Develop suite of ICSR artefacts which may be used to assist with client projects related to Operational Resilience. These include
    • IBS Register,
    • Impact Tolerance setting methodology,
    • Resource Mapping template,
    • Scenario Testing methodology
    • Remediation Plan template,
    • Communications Plan template, and
    • Self-Assessment Board Report template.
  • Overseeing and ensuring the delivery of good outcomes for clients.
  • Marketing the services ICSR offers to existing and potential clients through contacting and meeting friends and others in the market, delivering market briefings and writing and publishing thought leadership articles on matters and issues of interest to the market.
  • Supporting the development of the individuals within the ICSR team more widely by involvement in a training and development program for all employees. Desired Skills & Experience / Knowledge

Technical Skills / Knowledge – Essential
  • Deep experience in developing and implementing Operational Resilience frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of the London Insurance Market.
  • Ability to work on both strategic and macro initiatives and work within detailed business plans and processes.
  • An understanding of the regulatory obligations for insurance businesses.
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with high EQ.
  • An understanding of the importance of creating and maintaining a high reputation for ICSR.
