Key Responsibilities

  • Underwrite renewals and appraisals within delegated authority levels.

  • Assist with referrals for new business cases.

  • Identify cross-sell opportunities across multiple product lines.
  • Handle underwriting queries by phone and email.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (e.g. claims, marketing, IT) to resolve queries.
  • Analyse management information to identify trends and monitor underwriting performance.
  • Build and manage relationships with broker partners.
  • Support conversion of new business prospects and contribute to product launches.
  • Monitor and follow up on target quotes to optimise conversion rates.
Ensure all communications with brokers are professional, collaborative, and sales-focused.

What We're Looking For

  • Fluent in French and English (additional European languages such as Dutch or German are an advantage).
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to manage relationships with brokers.
  • Previous experience in insurance (ideally HNW, motor, or household).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Well-organised, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.

Desirable but Not Essential

  • Additional European language skills (Dutch or German).
  • Experience working with HNW insurance clients.
