Location: London / Hybrid
Rate: £1200 per day

Reporting to: Head of Transformation & Change

Overview:
This is a senior transformation leadership role focused on driving the delivery of a regional strategic agenda across a complex, multi-country business. The position combines strategic partnership with hands-on programme leadership, ensuring that transformation initiatives are translated into practical roadmaps, delivered effectively, and embedded successfully. It is a high-impact role for someone who can operate across strategy, delivery, change, and stakeholder engagement, while providing clear visibility of progress, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple strategic transformation initiatives across a regional portfolio, from planning through to benefits realisation
  • Translate high-level strategic priorities into actionable roadmaps, milestones, and measurable outcomes
  • Partner with senior regional leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities, shape delivery plans, and drive ownership
  • Ensure strong governance across the regional transformation portfolio, including progress tracking, issue management, escalation, and steering forum reporting
  • Drive transparent reporting on delivery progress, risks, dependencies, and required pivots to keep strategic objectives on track
  • Apply structured change management approaches to support adoption, business readiness, and long-term sustainability of outcomes
  • Lead stakeholder engagement activity including impact assessments, readiness planning, workshops, training, and communications
  • Act as a trusted advisor to regional leadership, balancing local priorities with broader enterprise objectives
  • Support the ongoing development of transformation capability, best practice, tools, templates, and ways of working across the function
  • Promote continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and the practical use of automation or AI to enhance delivery effectiveness
  • Help embed a high-performing, collaborative, and inclusive culture across transformation activity
What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional transformation initiatives from inception through to implementation and benefits realisation
  • Strong background in change leadership, delivery management, and stakeholder engagement across large, matrixed environments
  • Experience translating strategic objectives into practical delivery plans across people, process, and system change
  • Strong governance and reporting capability, including presenting progress, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership forums
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Comfortable operating across multiple geographies, functions, and stakeholder groups while maintaining alignment and delivery momentum
  • Experience working in agile or hybrid delivery environments across business and technology change
  • Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a complex environment
  • A proactive and resilient mindset, with the ability to lead through ambiguity and support sustainable change
Desirable but Not Essential:
  • Experience in insurance, reinsurance, or broader financial services
  • Practical knowledge of recognised change methodologies such as Prosci, ADKAR, or APMG
  • Exposure to leading mixed onshore/offshore or vendor-supported teams
  • Experience using AI or automation tools to support analysis, delivery, or change activity
