Overview:
This is a senior transformation leadership role focused on driving the delivery of a regional strategic agenda across a complex, multi-country business. The position combines strategic partnership with hands-on programme leadership, ensuring that transformation initiatives are translated into practical roadmaps, delivered effectively, and embedded successfully. It is a high-impact role for someone who can operate across strategy, delivery, change, and stakeholder engagement, while providing clear visibility of progress, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple strategic transformation initiatives across a regional portfolio, from planning through to benefits realisation
- Translate high-level strategic priorities into actionable roadmaps, milestones, and measurable outcomes
- Partner with senior regional leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities, shape delivery plans, and drive ownership
- Ensure strong governance across the regional transformation portfolio, including progress tracking, issue management, escalation, and steering forum reporting
- Drive transparent reporting on delivery progress, risks, dependencies, and required pivots to keep strategic objectives on track
- Apply structured change management approaches to support adoption, business readiness, and long-term sustainability of outcomes
- Lead stakeholder engagement activity including impact assessments, readiness planning, workshops, training, and communications
- Act as a trusted advisor to regional leadership, balancing local priorities with broader enterprise objectives
- Support the ongoing development of transformation capability, best practice, tools, templates, and ways of working across the function
- Promote continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and the practical use of automation or AI to enhance delivery effectiveness
- Help embed a high-performing, collaborative, and inclusive culture across transformation activity
- Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional transformation initiatives from inception through to implementation and benefits realisation
- Strong background in change leadership, delivery management, and stakeholder engagement across large, matrixed environments
- Experience translating strategic objectives into practical delivery plans across people, process, and system change
- Strong governance and reporting capability, including presenting progress, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership forums
- Excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Comfortable operating across multiple geographies, functions, and stakeholder groups while maintaining alignment and delivery momentum
- Experience working in agile or hybrid delivery environments across business and technology change
- Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a complex environment
- A proactive and resilient mindset, with the ability to lead through ambiguity and support sustainable change
- Experience in insurance, reinsurance, or broader financial services
- Practical knowledge of recognised change methodologies such as Prosci, ADKAR, or APMG
- Exposure to leading mixed onshore/offshore or vendor-supported teams
- Experience using AI or automation tools to support analysis, delivery, or change activity
