Overview
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Delegated Authority professional to step into a senior analyst role within a Lloyd’s market insurer. The position plays a vital role in ensuring compliance with the organisation’s Delegated Authority Framework, supporting underwriters, and strengthening governance and oversight across delegated arrangements. The role offers exposure across underwriting, audit, and regulatory returns, as well as the chance to mentor junior colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Provide full support to underwriters and stakeholders by managing due diligence and ongoing monitoring of delegated authorities, including binding authorities, lineslips, consortia, and delegated claims administrators (DCAs).
- Oversee implementation of the annual audit programme for Coverholders and DCAs, ensuring timely delivery and follow-up.

Prepare governance and performance reporting, including KPI analysis and insights for underwriting and stakeholder teams.

Administer the review process for delegated authority arrangements, ensuring compliance with internal frameworks and external market standards.

Produce delegated authority regulatory and Lloyd’s returns, embedding actions from market thematic reviews into the business.

Build and maintain strong relationships with underwriters and other business units.

Attend market forums, seminars, and workshops where required.

Support internal and external audit coordination, as well as ad hoc delegated authority projects.

Assist with oversight of outsourced resources for Coverholder onboarding and related administration.
What We’re Looking For

Extensive experience in delegated authority roles within the Lloyd’s market.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence working at all levels.

Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Attention to detail with proven due diligence and investigative ability.

Strong analytical, written, and presentation skills.

IT literate with working knowledge of Lloyd’s management systems (DCOM, DAM, Lineage, Atlas).

Experience developing and coaching junior team members.
Desirable but Not Essential
