Type: 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract / Hybrid


Overview:
An exciting opportunity for an experienced compliance professional to join a global insurance business on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role plays a key part in supporting the effectiveness of the organisation’s compliance framework through assurance activities, regulatory monitoring, policy management, and mandatory training oversight. The position offers broad exposure across a dynamic and fast-paced international environment, making it well suited to someone who enjoys balancing technical compliance responsibilities with stakeholder engagement and operational delivery.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver assigned compliance assurance and monitoring activities in line with the annual compliance plan
  • Assess the effectiveness of compliance controls, policies, and standards across key risk areas
  • Coordinate and oversee mandatory compliance training programmes, working with internal stakeholders and external providers
  • Monitor training completion rates and support reporting through collaboration with HR and relevant teams
  • Maintain compliance manuals, codes of conduct, and mandatory policy documentation
  • Prepare and collate management information for senior leadership, boards, and committees
  • Support the wider compliance function in delivering responsive and high-quality advisory support to the business
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across compliance processes and reporting

What We're Looking For:
  • Previous compliance assurance, monitoring, or audit experience within the insurance or reinsurance sector
  • Strong understanding of legal and regulatory principles relevant to insurance markets
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Analytical mindset with experience using data and reporting systems
  • Ability to manage competing priorities within a fast-paced global environment
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively across teams and functions

Desirable but Not Essential:
  • Experience managing compliance training programmes or regulatory learning platforms
  • Exposure to governance reporting for boards and committees
  • Knowledge of international compliance frameworks within financial services
  • Professional compliance, audit, or risk qualifications
