Overview
This is an excellent opportunity to begin a career within the London insurance market through a structured two-year apprenticeship programme. Working alongside experienced professionals, you'll gain practical experience in Exposure Management, supporting the assessment and monitoring of insurance risks using data, catastrophe modelling and analytical tools.
The programme is designed to develop the technical, professional and behavioural skills required for a successful career in insurance, with access to ongoing learning, development opportunities and professional qualifications throughout.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in producing catastrophe modelling outputs to support risk pricing and portfolio management activities.

  • Utilise industry-leading analytical tools to provide data-driven insights that support underwriting decision-making.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth progression of workflows, from initial data capture through to analysis and reporting.

  • Support the monitoring of service levels to ensure work is completed accurately and within agreed timeframes.

  • Assist senior analysts with portfolio analysis, workflow improvements and a range of ad hoc analytical projects.

  • Respond to stakeholder queries in a timely, professional and solution-focused manner.

  • Contribute to research initiatives, including event response analysis, model validation and other analytical projects.

  • Assist with the preparation and compilation of regulatory data to support internal governance and external reporting requirements.

  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to continuous improvements in analytical processes and reporting.

What You'll Need

  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) at Grade 4/C or above.

  • A-Level qualifications (or equivalent) with grades A*–C.

  • Strong numerical and analytical ability.

  • Good IT skills, including confidence using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

  • A proactive attitude, willingness to learn and excellent organisational skills.
