Overview
This is an excellent opportunity to launch a career in Compliance within the London insurance market. As part of a structured two-year apprenticeship programme, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting a wide range of compliance and regulatory activities while working towards a recognised Level 3 Compliance & Risk Officer Apprenticeship, including an industry-recognised compliance qualification.
Working alongside experienced professionals, you'll develop the technical, professional and behavioural skills needed for a successful career in insurance, with access to ongoing learning, development and professional qualifications throughout the programme.

Key Responsibilities

Administer compliance systems, including managing user access, logins, due diligence requests and supporting regulatory registration processes.
Provide administrative support across a variety of compliance activities, including responding to queries, managing approvals and monitoring shared inboxes.
Maintain accurate records, policies, documentation and management information within internal systems.
Develop an understanding of insurance regulation, market best practice and regulatory expectations within the London Market.
Support regulatory processes, including submissions, registrations and market-related administration.
Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and provide excellent administrative support.
Maintain and update internal compliance guidance, documentation and information resources.
Assist with a range of compliance processes, including Senior Managers & Certification Regime (SMCR) administration, regulatory horizon scanning, annual attestations, regulatory reporting schedules and financial crime monitoring activities.
Support the preparation of internal and external compliance reports by gathering, analysing and summarising information from various systems.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and assist with ad hoc compliance projects as required.

What You'll Need

GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) at Grade 4/C or above.
A-Level qualifications (or equivalent) with grades A*–C.
A genuine interest in compliance, risk, regulation or financial services.
Good IT skills, including confidence using Microsoft Office applications.
A proactive attitude, strong organisational skills and willingness to learn.
