KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • To handle cyber claims for a broad range of clients worldwide, written in the Cyber Unit and reporting to the Head of Cyber Claims, International.
  • Work closely with clients, TPA service providers, external legal advisors and specialist vendors, market leaders and brokers ensuring a premier claims service to clients is maintained.
  • The candidate will be accustomed to either handling or broking cyber claims and will have a working appreciation of the practical application of first and third party cyber coverages, reserving evaluations, cyber risk management considerations and, the roles and responsibilities of the various vendors typically engaged following a cyber incident.
  • To handle Lloyd’s Syndicate as well as company claims.
  • Liaise with respective underwriters on wording/policy issues, expert panels and provide claims info and attend client meetings as appropriate.
  • Provide claims intelligence to the Training & Advisory and Incident Response team and assist in various related projects as necessary.

 

 

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION/TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:

 

  • Ideally will have worked in a syndicate or company or perhaps a broker as a claims advocate/negotiator and gained sufficient practical experience in the market place to independently perform the above duties and responsibilities.
  • Specific and relevant cyber experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, to liaise with numerous customers and service providers, both internal and external.
  • Knowledge of CLASS/ECF2 preferable.
  • Experience with Excel, Word and PowerPoint preferable.
  • Legal and/or professional qualification an advantage but not essential.
